KATKO fire rated isolators are made of fade resistant material, built with a door defeat interlock to protected against unauthorised operation and to operate in combustion gas systems and other systems prone to high temperatures. IP66 rated, KATKO fire rated isolators are safe in 200°C for 3 hours (KEA FR) and 300°C heat for 2 hours (KEA FR3). Complying with British and international standards including BS 5839-1, KATKO fire rated isolators are designed to maintain the power and provide isolation to smoke extraction and ventilation equipment in non-domestic dwellings, such as car parks, shopping centers, businesses and more.
